Steps to Join Project J2b_455-8

For Y-DNA tested at Family Tree DNA

1. On the web, go to Family Tree DNA web site www.familytreedna.com

2. On the top right, hit the "LOGIN TO YOUR ACCOUNT"

3. On the login page, near the top on the left, type in your kit number and password

4. On the "Welcome to your Family Tree DNA personal page!", in the left column, hit on "Join Projects"

5. On the bottom of the new "Join A Group", Under "Y HAPLOGROUP PROJECTS", click on the "J 13" (The number is the count of projects starting with "J")

6.On the new page, find "J2b_455-8" and click on that

7. At the botton right, click on the

For others with Y-DNA Results

You can pay $19 and have your results added to the Family Tree DNA database (see: http://www.familytreedna.com/landing/ydna-transfer.aspx) and then join the project as above.

1. On the web, go to ysearch web site http://www.ysearch.org

2. Hit the "Create a new user" tab and follow the instructions

3. Email the project administor that you are now on ysearch
